Assign parking spots for large items.
Start with the real routine
Decide where the play mat, bouncer, stroller, carrier, and baskets live when not in use. Without parking spots, large baby items slowly occupy every walkway.
Keep the system safe and simple
Keep only current daily gear in the living room. Store occasional items elsewhere and remove anything the baby has outgrown.
Make it easy to reset
End the day with a room reset that takes less than ten minutes. If it takes longer, there may be too much gear in the active space.
