Build one changing area that is easy to repeat every day.
Start with the real routine
Keep the surface clear, store only daily supplies within reach, and place backup diapers, wipes, cream, bags, and spare clothes in a second nearby container. The goal is not to create a perfect nursery corner. The goal is to make the next change predictable when everyone is tired.
Keep the system safe and simple
A small trash plan matters too. Decide where used diapers go, how often the bin is emptied, and where laundry starts. This prevents the changing station from becoming a pile of half-finished tasks.
Make it easy to reset
Check the area at the same time each evening. Restock what is low, remove items that migrated there, and make sure nothing loose is within a baby’s reach.
