Prepare the route before bedtime.
Start with the real routine
Decide where feeding happens, where burp cloths live, where water for the adult sits, and where used cloths go afterward. Keep the setup boring and repeatable. Bright lights, missing supplies, and unnecessary decisions make it harder for everyone to settle again.
Keep the system safe and simple
If bottles are part of the routine, prepare only what can be safely prepared ahead under your local guidance. Keep cleaning and storage rules conservative, especially in warm rooms or during illness.
Make it easy to reset
After the last morning feed, reset the area immediately. A small reset prevents the next night from starting with yesterday’s clutter.
